Today, I would like to start the year by honoring You.
I kept praying for the same thing over and over again (only the two of us know) until I finally let go. Then, You gave me direction.

I asked You for wisdom and direction in my finances and You introduced me to freelancing that brought order and continues to provide more than I need.
I asked You for kindhearted clients who also believe in You and You gave me clients who grant paid leave for travel, paid leave when I need to step away at a moment’s notice, appreciation through bonuses and words and a sense of belonging within their companies. They express well wishes and prayers, are also committed to charity and take giving back to You seriously.
I asked You to make everything easy, light and smooth and You would just land clients on my lap and let me close huge ones in as short a span as three days.

I asked You for good health and You still allowed my parents to renew their vows at the age of 70+ at a time when You literally stopped the storm to make it happen.

I asked for grace and patience in a season that requires both and You let me experience every moment with calm and positivity.
I asked You for presence of mind and You gently showed me what to do in every situation.
I asked You for so many specific things and You gave me exactly what I asked for and more.
I asked You for good things and You guided me toward better ones.
I keep asking and You keep answering.
I ask. You answer.
How can I not honor You all the days of my life?
Proverbs 3:5–6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
