Truc and I stumbled upon this coffee shop during one of our motorbike night rides. It was an amazing experience spending a night at Bet Cafe, not only because of their must-try green tea and Cà phê sữa đá but also due to the powerful and impressive performances of their actors. I really loved the drama and humor in every scene. The play was in Vietnamese, but it wasn’t a hindrance to understanding the story. I got carried away simply because of the magnanimity of their actions. Another thing I appreciated was that the turn of events in the story was unpredictable. It wasn’t a typical play where one could foresee the next scene. Truc was considerate enough to translate some necessary details into English.
