One morning last February in Taipei, my husband and I woke up around 5 am (thank God for our travel rhythm which has grown over the years 😅) to catch the earliest train to High-Speed Rail Taipei station. We were heading to Sun Moon Lake in Nantou County and wanted to make the most of the day.
We walked to Songjiang Nanjing station and were among the first people there. By 6:13 am, we reached the line at HSR Taipei station and exchanged our reservation codes for physical tickets.

We had a super comfortable and fast train ride to Taichung then rode a bus to Sun Moon Lake. It was one of the most beautiful destinations we’ve visited and quickly became an instant favorite. We explored the place mostly by walking and biking.

I’m sharing this memory to celebrate a moment of joy and to attract more happy memories like this in 2026, a year of beautiful experiences, enormous blessings, well wishes, gentler and kinder souls and answered prayers.

If you’re wishing to travel more, may you explore and check off all the places on your travel list.
If you are in a season of life that requires patience and calm, may you enjoy every minute of it.
If you are doing your best to upgrade your life, may you finally receive the biggest break you’ll ever have.
If you have been praying for the same thing over and over again, may you finally be answered with clarity and receive that answer with acceptance.
If you are to live your life, may you finally do it more unapologetically.
Have a joy and miracle-filled new year ahead! 🙏💕🍃
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
