Attending the mass yesterday made me feel extra blessed. Everyone was singing loudly and the church was jam-packed so we had to stand the whole time. There were girls dressed in St. Clare’s nun attire along with their male counterparts. The mass was solemn and the homily was beautiful.

The atmosphere was light and airy with the church surrounded by greens and trees.

After the mass, the nuns gave each attendee two eggs and a cross-shaped bread wrapped in plastic.

People lined up for a simple food giveaway such as arroz caldo and everyone ate.

A couple of friends had told us about this church and it’s been more than a year and a half since my husband and I started attending masses here whenever we can. So it felt overwhelming yet amazing to be part of a church you’ve seen grow. Truly, God’s blessings only multiply.

It was only later that I realized yesterday was the celebration of the Feast of St. Clare of Assisi.

There are extra beautiful days. And yesterday was one of them.
